I’m back! … We’ll mostly, I guess ! Sorry I haven’t been very regular with my blogs, but things have been happening to my body and we’re not too sure how to handle everything. Firstly, I came down with a bad case of stomach flu, and that’s taken about 3 or 4 days to get rid of. I couldn’t eat anything without throwing up. Then s few days later, I got a bad case of diarrhea. … Esther and I talked seriously of returning to Vernon. But, that’s like giving up and that’s just not me. So here we are still on the road. Some might say, this has been a trip from hell. But we’re this far, just south of Ottawa, Ont.

Not sure where things were left off, however, we went thru a lot of towns, staying at times on the street, and some times at a park, and a few times at a campground. … I won’t mention all the places, but we came across the Tobermory Ferry , a 2 hour ferry, and along the Georgian Bay along to a little town called, Beaverton, Ont, then thru Peterborough to Smith Falls, and to Kemptville, Ont.

Weather has been not bad at most times, we’ve had a lot of rain. Southern Ontario is mostly very humid, so everytime it rains, that means more heat and humidity.

Tonight, we’re hunkered down in town of Kemptville, just south of Ottawa. It’s a real nice progressive town. We’re not going to Ottawa, and no plans for Montreal, so we’ll bypass those major cities.
