A long day today,

Today we travelled about 490 kms, a little tiring for us old bloggers but, tomorrow will be much shorter, about 200 klicks to North Bay to visit a couple ski buddies. Driving thru Quebec with their rough asphalt highway’s, I’ll be surprised if that didn’t shake a few nuts & bolts loose. Quebec has the roughest highways in Canada ! And I’ve driven on all the main highways in every province, including Newfoundland and PEI, and even the Yukon over the last number of years. They’ll have to spend some money on road improvements before they get me back in their province. Other province highways are fine.

I didn’t do a lot of picture taking today, but I’ll throw some pics in anyway. BTW,… we are now in the town of Pembroke, Ont.

More later, JB

  1. Looks like you are on the 2nd half of your journey. Working your way back. Let us know when you guys plan to be back and settled in Vernon. “Quebec has the roughest highways in Canada !” – What are they doing with all the millions hey get from the West in equalization payments? Oh wait, funding their Daycare and Education programs at our expense while letting their highways deteriorate. Cheers!
