August 7th

After visiting and having lunch with Esther’s friend, Marg, who lives in Fredericton, we carried on towards the Confederation Bridge. That is a long trip so we decided to stop overnight at a small fishing village, called, Cambridge Narrows. We asked about a campground close by, and the young guy behind the counter suggested we just stay in their parking lot overnight. That was great and in fact the parking lot was new asphalt. A very quiet night ! … Next morning, we headed out towards the bridge that will take us to PEI. … PEI is quite a nice province and very clean. We found a campground called, Linkletter Prov Park, drove in to the office and checked in. They had one, a cancellation and it is facing the ocean. We are right on the ocean and it only cost $33.00 plus taxes per night, with full hook-up. So we booked it for three nights, ending, Friday night. That means we’re here until Sat morning. A good deal especially since we only rarely pay for a campsite. We almost always stay somewhere away from the crowded campsites. Normally, we try to Boondock wherever we can to save money.

I’ll try to send a couple pictures.Any questions ?
